{"id":1825,"date":"2023-04-08T21:56:23","date_gmt":"2023-04-08T21:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/icom-georgia.mini.icom.museum\/?p=1825"},"modified":"2023-04-13T19:57:13","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T19:57:13","slug":"meeting-with-new-members-in-2023-118-new-members-joined-icom-georgia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icom-georgia.mini.icom.museum\/en\/meeting-with-new-members-in-2023-118-new-members-joined-icom-georgia\/","title":{"rendered":"Meeting with new members &#8211; this year 118 professionals joined ICOM Georgia"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>In 2023, 118 new members\u00a0joined ICOM Georgia, among them 109 individual, 8 student and 1 institutional members.<\/h3>\n<p>At the meeting held on April 8, the new members of the committee got introduced with the detailed information about following:<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<ul>\n<li>Establishment, development, strategic plan and directions of activities, committees and associated organizations of ICOM-International Council of Museums as a global international museum organization.<\/li>\n<li>Goals and objectives, strategies, implemented projects, activities and future plans of ICOM Georgia.<\/li>\n<li>Membership process, responsibilities and benefits of ICOM membership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">The host of the event, the <strong>Union of Tbilisi Museums, became an institutional member<\/strong> of ICOM this year. At the end of the meeting, institutional category membership cards were publicly presented to the union.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<p><em>We congratulate all new members on joining the ICOM World Museum Society and wish them effective and successful participation in the organization&#8217;s projects and activities.<\/em><\/p>\n<p
