On April 5–6, 2025, house museums from 27 countries across the world – 260 in total – are joining the first international initiative dedicated to memory houses and illustrious personalities.

The initiative is coordinated by the Italian National Association of Houses of Memory (Florence, Italy) in cooperation with ICOM-DEMHIST, ICOM-ICLCM, ICOM Italy, and the European Network of Houses of Illustrious Personalities. Its goal is to highlight the importance of house museums as vital spaces of collective memory and cultural heritage.

Georgia is proudly participating in this significant event – 9 museums from the country are joining the international platform.
