YOCOCU 2020 International Online Conference “HANDS ON HERITAGE: EXPERIENCING CONSERVATION, MASTERING MANAGEMENT” will be held on November 2-3-4, 2020, with the participation of 7 keynote speakers and more than 120 researchers and students from 26 countries.

The conference is organized by YOCOCU ITALY, University of Georgia, National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia, Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, ICOM Georgia, Georgian National Museum, Georgian Technical University.

The aim of the YOCOCU 2020 Conference is to present experiences in learning and working on real-life scenarios in the realm of the conservation and management of cultural heritage of different countries to the wider scientific community and at the same time, to promote the establishment of professional connections between young researchers and scientists.

Within the framework of the conference, participants and the attendees will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Georgian cultural heritage in digital format (Georgian National Museum Treasures; Uplistsikhe Museum-Reserve, Mutso, Niko Pirosmanashvili Museum; Conservation and restoration works carried out in the Museum of Tbilisi State Academy of Arts) and also, the mobile app created for the conference by TravelGis, including various types of tourist and cognitive tours throughout Georgia.
