V&A Capacity building training on Emergency Planning for museums and cultural heritage protection
From July 8-12, 2024, we invite Georgian museum and heritage specialists to participate in an capacity building training on Emergency Planning for museums and cultural heritage protection. This training is organized by ICOM Georgia and the Victoria and Albert Museum in Tbilisi.

Training topics include:
- Risk management and risk scenarios;
- Emergency preparation and planning;
- Rapid response, recovery, and emergency evacuation;
- Cultural heritage at risk; Case studies and best practices.
The training will be conducted in English with Georgian translation.
Since places are limited, we recommend registering as soon as possible through the above link. Selected participants from regional museums will be funded for travel and accommodation in Tbilisi if needed.
Additionally, on July 12, a public seminar on emergency planning for museums and cultural heritage protection will be held as part of the same project. Detailed information about the seminar will be published soon.
