Main goals:

• Support to development of Museum field and protection of Cultural Heritage in Georgia
• Adherence and distribution of the ICOM Code of Ethics in the museum society of Georgia;
• Dissemination and implementation of ICOM aims, objectives and programs in Georgia;
• Collaboration with UNESCO, ICOM and other ICOM National and International Committees and other professional networks;
• Support to the capacity building and advocate the interests of museum professionals in Georgia;
• Organizing the international and local training- programs, seminars, conferences, forums;
• Publication of professional methodology literature and manuals;
• Collaboration with governmental and non-governmental bodies in developing and protecting of museum and cultural heritage field;
• Spreading information within local and international museum community about the ongoing processes in museum field.
